NYC Pizza Week is a citywide celebration of independent New York pizza shops — the counters, the corner joints, the neighborhood institutions that made this city the greatest pizza city in the world. Pizza connects every New Yorker: every borough, every income level, every generation.
Despite being the greatest pizza city in the world, New York has never stopped to celebrate itself. No citywide moment. No occasion to honor the shops, the slices, and the people who made this city legendary. Until now.
The Experience
How it works
Each participating shop will craft their own NYC Pizza Week Signature Slice — a one-of-a-kind creation made exclusively for the week. Perfect for a lunch break, an after-work stop, or a full borough crawl with friends — try the slice, explore the menu, and cast your vote.

Use the NYC Pizza Week Slice Map to discover every Signature Slice from every participating shop. These are the kind of places worth crossing the city for.

Order the Signature Slice
No reservation needed. Walk in and order the NYC Pizza Week Signature Slice: each shop's one-of-a-kind creation made exclusively for the event. These exist for two weeks only. Once NYC Pizza Week ends, they're gone for good.

Vote for the best slice
After each slice, cast your vote using your phone. The more shops you visit, the more votes you get. At the end of two weeks, the shop with the highest-rated slice takes home the title of Best Slice of Pizza Week.

For each specialty slice sold, NYC Pizza Week will donate to Slice Out Hunger, a New York-born nonprofit that's built strong connections between the pizza community and their neighbors in need. Since 2009, they've raised over $2 million to fund hunger and disaster relief efforts nationwide.
