Andrea's Pizza opened in the East Village in July 2025 as the first solo venture for owner and head pizzaiolo Andrea Kenuti — a veteran of Scarr's Pizza on Orchard Street, where he spent seven years, and L'Industrie in the West Village. That old-school pedigree shows up in every pie: thin-crust slices, hand-tossed and baked in a gas-powered deck oven, come out lightly charred with a mildly sweet tomato sauce and salty, well-balanced cheese. The shop leans into a classic East Village feel, with cozy indoor booths and a handful of outdoor tables for settling in. Just months into service, Andrea has already built a reputation as a one-man pizza machine — stretching dough, topping pies, and running the counter himself — turning Andrea's into the kind of neighborhood slice shop regulars claim as their own.
